The KPMG EU Tax Centre
The KPMG EU Tax Centre was established in the early 90s and has been based in Amstelveen, under the supervision of Chairman Robert van der Jagt. The EU Tax Centre functions as a knowledge center in the field of European tax law, monitoring all the latest tax-related technical developments, such as the many judgments rendered by the Court of Justice of the European Communities in Luxembourg. The ETC also analyzes these developments, issues newsflashes, and identifies market opportunities for KPMG’s tax advisors in the European Union. The partners in charge of the ETC are Robert van der Jagt (chairman), Laurent Leclerc (Paris), Chris Morgan (London), and Helmut Rehm (Frankfurt. In recent years, the network has expanded to include approximately 150 EU experts in all 27 Member States of the EU.
