The Netherlands India Business Meet 2010

Theme:
We are no longer simply raising awareness about India. The potential of this growing market cannot be ignored. The issue facing us now is how to make the most of this opportunity. Important concrete questions for businesses are:  How does India fit into my growth strategy and what are my critical factors for success? What are the most significant market trends in India, with its expanding middle class? How do I adapt my communications and products to the local situation? Can I place my product in India? What’s more, what are the financial issues? Should I consider financing, payments, international money transfers, foreign exchange risks, and tax consequences?

These and other related topics will be discussed during the NIBM 2010.

The meeting, which will be conducted in English, will start at 1:30 p.m. and finish at 5:00 p.m. Refreshments will then be served, followed by a buffet dinner, during which the annual India Business Award will be presented.

Target group

The target group is the medium-sized and larger businesses in the Netherlands who have, or are planning to have, activities in India. Businesses from all sectors are welcome, and the special focus will be on the sectors with a wealth of opportunities: IT/Sourcing, Agriculture & Food, Infrastructure & Logistics, and Manufacturing, which includes Automotive, Creative Industries, and Water.
