Do you ever travel through Amstelveen on the A9? If so, you have no doubt seen the new KPMG and KPMG Meijburg & Co headquarters. The new workplace for all 450 KPMG Meijburg and 1,500 KPMG staff members in Amstelveen. Langerhuize, the new office building, was designed by architect Marcel van der Schalk, who was also involved in designing our current offices. KPMG Meijburg & Co and KPMG’s new headquarters will fit perfectly into our plans for growth. The new building offers 20% more office space, which means we will have plenty of room for new talent.
Amstelveen will continue to be our home
KPMG and KPMG Meijburg chose Amstelveen for their headquarters because of its central location in the Netherlands. The accessibility of this location from both the A9 and via public transport ensures that our headquarters is strategically placed in a uniquely convenient location.
Sustainable business practices
Our new office was developed using revolutionary and innovative environmental techniques. The premises have been fitted out with an installation that stores and reuses surplus heat and cold. This stored surplus will be used to heat the building in the winter, and cool the building in the summer. But that’s not all. Each room is equipped with sensors that regulate lighting and climate control while the room is occupied. We have formulated our future growth plans with socially responsible business practices in mind. This will mean that we allot fewer square meters per person and promote our advisors’ mobility through information technology.
