Roundtable "Prospects for Business Tax Reform in the U.S."

On Thursday, March 24, 2011, KPMG Meijburg & Co will host the next U.S. Tax Centre roundtable, as part of its series of breakfast meetings. The roundtable will focus on recent and proposed tax reform  in the United States. We will also review the updated guidance regarding uncertain tax positions in U.S. federal tax returns.

Mr. Hank Gutman, Principal in charge of KPMG US’ Legislative Affairs practice, will reflect on the  Obama administration’s first two years in office, and how the  White House and Congress may impact the taxation of international business with the United States.

Mr. Gutman is a former U.S. Treasury Department official, and Chief of Staff of the Congressional Joint Committee on Taxation. He is also  Principal in charge of KPMG US’ Tax Governance Institute.

The roundtable will be held at KPMG’s Amstelveen office and will be preceded by a light breakfast.
