Arjen is an attorney-at-law (advocaat), specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). He advises a wide range of clients, including multinational corporations, private equity and venture capital funds, entrepreneurs, and family businesses, on matters relating to corporate law, investments, and M&A transactions. Arjen has played a key role in numerous national and international deals, with a particular emphasis on strategic (private equity) transactions. His core responsibilities include drafting and reviewing share purchase agreements (SPAs) and shareholder agreements (SHAs), as well as conducting and coordinating legal (vendor) due diligence investigations ((V)DDs).
Arjen graduated from the University of Groningen and the University of Amsterdam. He also completed an introductory summer program in Chinese law at KoGuan Law School, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is enrolled in the International Legal Practice Program 2025–2026, developed in collaboration with the International Bar Association (IBA) and jointly offered by FGV Sao Paulo Law School (Brazil), King’s College London (UK), and IE University School of Law (Spain).
