Bart is an attorney‑at‑law (advocaat) and leads the Commercial Contracting practice.
He specializes in providing strategic advice to national and international medium to large corporates, entrepreneurs, family businesses, start-ups and growth companies.
Bart has been involved in many commercial law projects, including the implementation of (strategic) legal advice. His work primarily consists of advising clients on commercial contracts, including drafting and reviewing all kinds of commercial agreements. He has extensive experience with commercial law, business and consumer relationships, and general terms and conditions. Bart also advises clients on various corporate matters, such as directors’ liability, and has experience in litigation.
Bart is known for his ability to advise on legal strategies or practical solutions based on the needs and legal position of the client. His pragmatic and creative approach takes into account the relevant market and other interests of the client. Bart has published articles in legal periodicals, and regularly gives presentations and courses in his areas of expertise.
