Thessa is an attorney-at-law (advocaat) specializing in Intellectual Property Law, IT/Digital Law and Data Protection (GDPR) in the context of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Commercial Contracting. She advises a wide range of clients, including national and international companies, private equity and venture capital funds, and entrepreneurs.

Thessa graduated from Utrecht University. Before joining Meijburg Legal, she worked for two and a half years as a (senior) associate in the legal M&A practice of a large international consulting firm. During her time there she was also seconded to an international bank, where she contributed to a large-scale contracting compliance project.

Thessa’s analytical skills, pragmatic approach, and careful decision-making, combined with an understanding of her clients’ interests and ambitions, make her a valued advisor.

  • Post-academic Certificate for Company Lawyers (SBB) – Radboud University Nijmegen
