We are delighted to invite you to this year’s KPMG Meijburg  & Co Transfer Pricing seminar, which will take place on October 29, 2026, at our Amstelveen office and marks our 25th edition!

As always, our goal is to update you on the latest Transfer Pricing developments and to share our insights into several relevant topics.

This year's seminar focusses on 'the Netherlands as an investment hub: challenges and opportunities'.
How attractive is the Netherlands as a location for investment and growth, particularly for innovative and international companies, and what needs to improve to remain competitive?

The seminar will start with a plenary session where you will hear from Marije Dijksma, Head of Public Affairs & Strategic Communications at Techleap. She will provide a scale-up and innovation perspective on the Dutch investment climate, focusing on talent, funding, incentives, international competitiveness, and the steps needed to keep the Netherlands attractive for future investors.

This will be followed by a panel with a number of clients that will discuss what drives investment decisions, which factors support business growth in the Netherlands, and what is needed for the country to remain a leading investment hub in Europe. Can the Netherlands maintain its competitive edge as a destination for investment, innovation and business growth?

Subsequently, you can choose from a range of workshops as outlined below.

Panelists

Moderated by Agata Uceda, Partner, Meijburg & Co.

Break-out session A: New OECD consultation on intercompany services, where is the benefit?

In this workshop Jeroen and Jan will discuss the recently published consultation of the OECD relating to Section 7 of the OECD Guidelines regarding intercompany services, sharing insights and practical takeaways for the business. By Jeroen Kuppens and Jan Liebreks

Break-out session B: Beyond TNMM: Use cases for two-sided transfers pricing methods.

The transactional net margin method (TNMM) is used in 80%-90% of the benchmarking analyses generated each year by taxpayers and advisors. This is in stark contrast to the preference for two-sided methods in the OECD Guidelines, the Dutch TP Decree and many other local transfer pricing regulations worldwide. We will introduce two-sided methods such as the profit split and discuss possible use cases. More complex arrangements such as Cost Contribution Agreements (CCAs) will also be addressed. The workshop will be appropriate for transfer pricing practitioners or tax professionals who already have some exposure to transfer pricing. By Valentin Krustev and Daniel Ruiz Ramirez

Break-out session C: Bridging the gap between treasury, transfer pricing and tax.

Intercompany financing arrangements often reflect treasury objectives around liquidity, funding and risk management. However, these arrangements may also trigger transfer pricing and tax challenges, related to interest deductibility limitations, withholding taxes, anti-abuse rules, VAT, and beneficial ownership requirements. In this workshop, we will explore how closer collaboration between treasury, tax and transfer pricing teams can help identify and manage these risks while supporting a robust and sustainable intercompany financing framework. By Alistair Mclaren and Flor Snel

Break-out session D: Transfer Pricing, VAT and Customs: why an integrated approach is becoming increasingly important.

Transfer pricing adjustments are attracting growing attention from European tax and customs authorities. Recent developments in legislation and case law show that transfer pricing decisions can have consequences that extend far beyond corporate income tax. VAT and customs implications are increasingly becoming part of the discussion. In this workshop, our VAT and TP specialists explore this topic together in more detail and provide practical insights on mitigating these risks. By Maurits Stuyt & Rami Abduelamier

Break-out session E: From Transfer Pricing ideas to AI prompts: a hands-on DG GenAI Workshop.

In this interactive double-session workshop, participants will explore how AI is being used in the transfer pricing field and how practical ideas can be translated into AI-enabled solutions. After a short introduction to Transfer Pricing and AI, participants will work in small groups to identify a relevant use case, design an AI prompt, and build it using KPMG Digital Gateway GenAI. This hands-on session is designed to help participants move from concept to practice and experience how AI can support day-to-day transfer pricing work. By Marta Varatojo

Join industry leaders and transfer pricing specialists to discuss the future of the Dutch investment climate and gain practical insights for your business.
