Jeroen is a partner at KPMG Meijburg & Co and specializes in providing tax advice to financial institutions. He advises banks, insurers, asset managers, investment funds, and pension funds on a wide range of Dutch and international tax issues.His work focuses, among other things, on Dutch and international corporate income tax and dividend tax, and he has extensive experience with cross-border structures, reorganizations, and investments. In addition, Jeroen advises on tax issues specific to the financial sector, including the tax treatment of financial institutions and investment structures, as well as the application of tax treaties.Jeroen combines in-depth tax expertise with a practical and solution-oriented approach. He assists clients with complex tax issues and transactions, as well as in negotiations with the Dutch Tax Authority and regarding developments in Dutch and international tax laws and regulations.

Jochum Zutt began his career at Meijburg in 2007 and since then has accumulated almost 20 years of tax experience. His expertise is mainly in insurance premium tax and VAT, with a specific focus on CESOP regulations. Jochum mainly advises financial institutions and multinationals offering financial products and in this capacity is often involved with projects for companies active in the digital economy wishing to expand their product range.One of Jochum’s strengths is his ability to present complex issues in a straightforward and understandable way. This makes him a valued advisor for his clients, who are often faced with complicated and challenging tax issues. Jochum constantly shares his expertise by being a frequent contributor to professional journals.
